3 Chicago stars are ready to return to the series. We’re curious to see how these reunions will go

One Chicago is entering a new phase as a franchise. All three shows will surpass the ten-season mark when they return in the fall, and all have recently undergone major cast changes. People have left and new characters have come to take their place. In the case of Chicago PD, there’s still no verdict on who will replace Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos).

That being said, the franchise has maintained a good relationship with most of its actors, and some of them have made it clear that they are open to reprising their characters at some point. that in the future. Below is a list of the most notable actors who could return in 2024.

Jon Seda returns to Chicago PD as Dawson

Jon Seda has never left Chicago PD. The actor is starring in another NBC show, La Brea, but even with production taking place in Australia, he still found time to link up with One Chicago alum Jesse Spencer. He recently posted a photo with PD stars Jason Beghe and Benjamin Levy Aguilar, further adding to the notion that he’s around more often than we realize.

La Brea was recently cancelled, meaning Seda’s schedule is wide open. There’s also a lot to dig deeper into his character’s past and the issues he had to deal with in his most recent appearance.

Brian Tee returns to Chicago Med as Dr. Choi

Brian Tee appears to be following Jesse Lee Soffer’s game plan, which is to stop acting in front of the camera and still join One Chicago as director. Tee has directed several episodes since leaving Chicago Med, but he recently told TV Line that he’d like to return as Dr. Ethan Choi in case there’s a big storyline.

“It’s one of those things where you never say goodbye,” he explains. “I think maybe the hospital needs help. Some kind of tragedy is going to happen, some kind of catastrophic tragedy. And maybe they’ll bring me, Will Halstead, and April back.” Not a bad throw…

Kara Killmer returns to Chicago Fire as Brett

Kara Killmer is the most recent cast member to escape Chicago Fire, and her exit was swift. Her character, Sylvie Brett, marries Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and moves to Oregon to start a family. Happily ever after. However, that doesn’t mean Brett is done for good.

The character texted Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) an important message in the season 12 finale. And Killmer made it clear that she loved the character and would happily return for a cameo during the season upcoming. “Oh, absolutely,” she told NBC Chicago. “The door is wide open. Anytime they want to call, I’ll be there. It’s a great show, great people. I’ll be back anytime they want.”
