‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Tuesday, May 7: Jordan Losses Control and Starts Drinking; Mrs. Abbott Tells Alan to Leave; Claire is Encouraged to be Harrison’s Nanny

Well, things are off to an interesting start this week in Genoa City, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies for Tuesday, May 7.

It looks like we’re going to continue along the path of mental health storylines as Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) will begin deteriorating under Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s care, and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)’s alter Mrs. Abbott will make her stand.

Nothing like fun and games Genoa City style.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Losing her mind

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers know it’s a stretch at this point to expect Jordan to have any sanity left, and what little she had will vacate as she’s locked in Victor’s dungeon.

We expect she’ll resist and be as defiant as possible, but in the end she’ll start to break from being locked up and facing the same ending she planned for Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

She’ll even start drinking, whether she’ll be expecting Victor to be sympathetic toward her or someone will find her, and with this being stretched out we think the latter will happen.

Well, it was fun watching Belle while it lasted as Mrs. Abbott is back and she won’t waste any time in telling her friend Dr. Allan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) to leave Genoa City.

This will be a pretty typical scene of late as Mrs. Abbott will seek to prove she’s sane and not an alter, and she’ll only prove the opposite to be true.

 

This will lead to a showdown with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and the family and that should be interesting to see to play out.

Especially as far as Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) is concerned as it looks like Jack and the Newmans will encourage Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to become Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell)’s nanny.

It definitely looks like the Abbotts may be taking center stage for a while, especially since the Jordan storyline has more than worn out it’s welcome, but then so has the Ashley storyline.

Given how those are falling flat for many, the Summer and Claire one may be the more entertaining in the coming days, though many are tired of Summer’s antics as well.

It should be fun to see which storyline can recapture our interest the most.
