Kyle, Harrison, and Claire walk in the front door, laughing. Kyle asks his son how he enjoyed the Ferris wheel.
Harrison says it was a lot of fun.
Claire thanks Harrison for grabbing her hand when she got scared.
Kyle laughs and asks if Harrison was scared on the ride.
Harrison says he got scared a little bit.
They laugh and talk about feeding ducks. Kyle tells Harrison to get washed up for dinner.
Harrison asks if Claire will be staying for dinner.
Kyle tells Claire that she’s more than welcome to stay.
Crimson Lights
Summer and Chelsea sit and talk over coffee. Summer tells Chelsea that her heart goes out to her and Adam. She knows how hard it is to see a child suffer, especially if there’s nothing you can do to take their pain away.
Chelsea says it’s been difficult and she feels cut off from her son, but the doctors have told her that he’s ready for his parents to visit.
Summer thinks that’s great.
Chelsea says it is, but she has a huge favor to ask… She needs to take a leave of absence so she can be there for her son as he goes through his treatment, even though she knows the timing is bad.
Summer tells her to take whatever time she needs; Connor should be her first priority! She worries about the deadlines they’re facing for the winter collection.
Chelsea says she doesn’t want to leave Summer in the lurch… She has a suggestion that she hopes Summer will keep an open mind about.
Society
Adam and Sally talk over a meal. Adam says he can’t wait to see Connor’s face in person; the video calls just aren’t cutting it. He’s not looking forward to leaving Sally, though.
Sally figures he must be relieved. She says they may not be together for a while, but they have the night together.
