Emmerdale Spoilers: Cain Dingle’s DEVASTATING Reaction to Moira’s UNEXPECTED Emmerdale Departure

Emmerdale has revealed that Dawn and Billy have told a major lie following Rose’s disappearance.

Dawn has been desperate to get to the bottom of her mum Rose’s whereabouts in recent weeks. Viewers know that Will and Kim forced Rose to leave Home Farm after discovering she’d been plotting against them.

However, there was a further twist when a Home Farm SUV menacingly pulled up alongside Rose, with the contents of her bag later turning up on the side of the road.

In Friday’s (August 23) episode, a distraught Dawn revealed to Will that her baby son Evan might need a bone marrow transplant following his cancer treatment.

Dawn relayed that Evan’s doctors wanted the entire family, including Rose, to get tested as potential bone marrow donors.

“We all need to get tested, no exceptions,” Dawn declared. “I am going to do everything I can to find [Rose].”

After Dawn left Rose a heartfelt message begging her to come back, Will realised he’d have to do something to shut down any suspicion over Rose’s whereabouts.

Will’s next move was to retrieve Rose’s phone, which Kim had stolen weeks earlier. Hoping to shut down Dawn’s search, he replied to her message as Rose to say she was never coming back.

The soap then cut away to Dawn telling Billy on the phone that Will had “bought every word”, then revealing: “I hate lying about Evan [needing a transplant] but it’s the only way. [Will is] not going to know what’s hit him tomorrow.”

With answers about Rose’s appearance looming, is Will in trouble?
