Emmerdale’s Tom King makes new Angelica plan in early ITVX episode

Emmerdale spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (December 4), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale has confirmed Tom King’s next plan ahead of his upcoming court trial.
The scheming villain is on a desperate mission to escape justice, despite the serious charges he’s facing over his evil abuse of his wife Belle.
Tom was charged with coercive controlling behaviour and assault last week after new evidence came to light which backed up Belle’s allegations.
When Tom then made a failed attempt to flee abroad, he was arrested for breaching his bail conditions and held on remand in prison.

Wednesday’s episode confirmed that Tom had pleaded not guilty in court in off-camera scenes. The news concerned Belle, as well as Tom’s relatives Jimmy and Nicola, as they’ll all now have to face the stress of a court trial.
Later, Tom had another manipulative conversation with his young cousin Angelica over the phone – hoping that she could somehow sway Jimmy back to his side.
Tom explained: “Me and your dad, we spoke about a lot of things. About my dad, about me and Belle. If there’s one person who can make the jury see that I am incapable of any of these things that Belle is saying about me, it’s him.”
