
Mick Jagger’s co-star who also starred in Casualty and Holby City dies aged 79

Actor Ken Shorter has died at the age of 79.
The Australian star appeared in a number of movies between 1969 and 2018, when he retired. He is best known for playing the lead role in the cult classic biker film Stone in 1974.
He also appeared alongside Mick Jagger in 1970 flick Ned Kelly, as well as Disney movie Dragonslayer in 1981. In the UK, Ken had a number of appearances in Casualty, The Bill and Holby City.
It’s reported that Ken died earlier this month in Sydney. No cause of death has yet been revealed, however it is reported that his health had been declining for a number of years.
