Home and Away spoiler: Kirby discovers Theo’s secret

Theo’s party drug has kicked in. As Theo hasn’t experienced anything like this before, Valerie helps him to navigate the experience.

At home, Justin and Leah happily settle back into the rhythm of their relationship – glad that Theo is in a better headspace, but clueless he’s under the influence. Valerie ushers him into his room to minimise risk of them figuring it out.

Theo asks Valerie when and why she takes these pills, but she deflects every time, distracting him with the thought of the fun afternoon ahead. They dance into the night, forgetting all their troubles, until finally they collapse in bed together, giving in to their building attraction and kiss.

Kirby is still confused by her fallout with Theo. She and Remi discuss concerns that Theo is getting distracted from Lyrik, especially with Valerie hanging around. Remi is still recovering so Kirby takes matters into her own hands, asking Theo to chat. He’s still emboldened by the drugs when he arrives, uncharacteristically complimentary.

Kirby drives to talk about a potential gig, but Theo is distracted. Kirby’s confused and finally catches on – asking Theo whether he’s high and whether this is Valerie’s doing. He cuts her off, asking for no judgements and leaves her behind, troubled.

Meanwhile, Bree lets Remi know she’s home from spending time with her family. He replies revealing he’s out of hospital, even though it’s been a week. When Bree knocks at the door, she’s relieved and glad he’s home, but wants to know why nobody told her.

Remi apologises – explaining that he felt she needed to be with her family, and not be worrying about him. Bree later tells Remi the full truth: her father suffered serious brain damage in his accident and he passed away from his injuries. Bree cries into Remi’s arms. She has been keeping everyone at a distance to try to fix everything herself – and now she’s falling apart.
