There’s about to be a new face in Salem — and a handsome one at that: The Young and the Restless alum Michael Roark has landed a role on the Peacock sudser, Soaps.com can confirm. In fact, the actor has already been taping and can be expected to make his on-screen debut the first week of October.

CBS soap fans will recall Roark from his stint as Young & Restless’ Travis Crawford, who became involved with Victoria while she was under the guise of Tori. When the owner of Hank’s Bar found out who she really was, the two of them carried on a romantic relationship — and even got engaged.
If only her ex Billy hadn’t revealed that Travis had had a one-night stand with his former lover.
Though this will only be Roark’s second daytime role, prior to appearing on the CBS soap, he appeared in numerous primetime series and films, including Drop Dead Diva as Joe, The Glades as Justin, The Vampire Diaries as Cowboy, Banshee as Billy and Grey’s Anatomy as Jordan. After leaving his Genoa City role in 2016, he continued to land primetime roles and most recently turned up as Butch on The Black Dagger Brotherhood and Alek in the 2025 film Catalyst.
