The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Threat Cane Won’t See Coming– Holden’s Dangerous Trap

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could set a dangerous trap for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). This trap would be the perfect setup, as Cane would never suspect Holden would backstab him in this manner.

The fact that Holden could set a trap for Cane might be surprising to the Y&R viewers. Until this, the fans have witnessed Holden do whatever Cane asked. When Cane asked Holden to get closer to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), he did it without questioning his motives.

Things change when Cane returns to Genoa City and Holden learns about the deaths of Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers), Carter (Vincent Stalba), and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd).

Damian & Holden Were Like Family

Damian and Holden didn’t always see eye-to-eye, but they cared about each other. At one time, Holden considered Damian his “brother.” When Holden learns about Vincent murdering Damian for Cane over Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), it might push Holden over the edge.

Holden could and will likely blame Cane. If it wasn’t for Cane’s obsession over Lily, Damian might still be alive. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Holden will unravel over his friend’s death, looking for someone to blame.

It’s possible that Holden might blame Lily for the murder first, only to shift his focus after talking to her about the events in France.

Holden Sets A Dangerous Trap

After getting the France scoop from Lily, Holden will change his opinion on Damian’s murder. At first, he might assume that Lily’s complicated relationship with Cane caused Damian’s untimely death.

But after Lily explains that Carter killed Damian by poisoning his liquor, and then, when confronted, killed Chance before turning the gun on himself. Holden will feel confident that the blame rests in Cane’s lap. It all started with Cane’s obsession with winning Lily back.

The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Holden will plot his next move, carefully scheming for the next way to get revenge on Cane.

He might continue to work with him, feeding him fake information on Genoa City’s elite. It will all be a ruse, as Holden is waiting for the perfect chance to get his payback on Cane for being the catalyst in Damian’s murder.

If Adam or Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets wind of Holden’s grudge, they could easily pull him into their scheme, adding him to the team responsible for taking Cane down.
