**Where is Sharon in Y&R? Real reason behind her MIA**

Fans of The Young and the Restless are feeling the absence of Sharon, and they’re wondering where she’s disappeared to this time. Sharon Newman, or Sharon Collins as she’s currently known,

portrayed by the talented Sharon Case, has always been a beloved character on the show. Not only is she the owner of the local coffee shop, but she’s also everyone’s trusted confidante, thanks to her psychology degree.

However, Sharon’s recent disappearance has left viewers wondering what’s going on with her character.

Sharon’s journey took an unexpected turn when her old stalker, Cameron Kirsten, resurfaced in late 2023. In a shocking turn of events, she ended up defending herself by fatally stabbing him. Even more surprising was the revelation that Cameron had left his company to Sharon, leading her to hand over Crimson Lights to Esther and focus on her new business venture. With her relationship with Chance coming to an end, Sharon threw herself into her work, revamping Cameron’s old business and relaunching it as Cassidy First Technology. It seemed like Sharon was finally getting the storyline she deserved, but then she disappeared once again.

The last time viewers saw Sharon was in Claire’s dream episode, where she was happily with Nick and their twins, Mariah and Cassie. As a daytime Emmy-winning actress, it’s unfair to sideline Sharon and not give her the storyline she deserves. While there’s plenty of business drama happening on the show, fans are eager to see how Sharon’s company is faring and to witness her personal growth beyond just work.
