What’s Going On With Claire?

Claire (Hayley Erin) turned down Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) proposal, which came out of nowhere. She quickly put the pieces together and realized that he got the idea after their fight about Audra (Zuleyka Silver). She told him that she would think about it, but she’s not in a hurry to settle down.

Rather, she wants to relive the moments that she missed out on when she was raised by that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) woman. Y&R fans on Reddit are wondering where this storyline will lead her. The original poster suggested, “So my guess is they are setting up Claire leaving Kyle and her becoming a true Newman wanting to destroy everybody.”

It seems as if the show is teasing a Claire and Holden (Nathan Owens) coupling. But most fans want Claire to embrace her birth name, Eve, and team up with her uncle, Adam (Mark Grossman), who would be encouraged to go back to his dark ways. It would make sense since Claire is not taking crap from anyone these days, not even her own family. This would make for an intriguing and compelling storyline.
