Phyllis is considered the Queen of Schemes in the daytime world. She’s often driven by power, wealth, and revenge, which makes her both a formidable partner and an untrustworthy friend on The Young and the Restless. Here’s a look back at some of her biggest schemes.

5 – Mrs. Danny Romalotti

For years, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was obsessed with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), which is why she’s in a decades-long feud with Christine, aka “Cricket” (Lauralee Bell). She desperately wanted Danny’s child, so she drugged him to get him into bed with her.

When she got pregnant, she altered the DNA results to show that Danny was the biological father. Danny ended up leaving Christine and marrying Phyllis, who gave birth to their son. She also intentionally hit Christine and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) with her car. The crash left Christine with severe injuries and caused her to miscarry Danny’s baby.

4 – Diane Jenkins Hate Club

Phyllis is always obsessed. In this case, she was obsessed with Diane (Susan Walters), who came back from the dead. She joined forces with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to drive Diane out of Genoa City. They were determined to prove that Diane hadn’t changed.

3 – Mommy Dearest

Phyllis often interfered with Summer’s (ex-Allison Lanier) marriage. She convinced her daughter to get into a custody battle with Kyle (Michael Mealor) for their son, Harrison. This, along with Summer covering up Phyllis’s fake death, contributed to the demise of Kyle and Summer’s marriage and ruined their chance at reconciliation.

2 – The Coverup

In 2018, Phyllis and Nikki, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon (Sharon Case) teamed up to bury the body of J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). By this point, J.T. was abusive toward Victoria. During a heated argument, Nikki struck J.T. with a fireplace poker to protect her daughter. The ladies assumed that he was dead.

So, they brought his body to a public park and buried him. However, it was eventually revealed that J.T. was still alive. He had a brain tumor that caused his abusive behavior. Regardless, J.T. pleaded guilty and went to jail. He’s never been heard of ever since.

1 – Faking It

Phyllis teamed up with the con man Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to get revenge on Diane. However, his demands became too much for her. She staged her own murder. But first, she killed Jeremy. Her daughter found out that she was alive and well. Summer agreed to keep it a secret from everyone.

Daniel eventually exposed his mother’s crimes. Phyllis is still paying for this years later. No one can trust her because they never know what she’s going to do next. Now, she’s set on working with Cane (Billy Flynn), who just called off their collab. But even that’s not going to stop her.
