The Young and the Restless is often a family affair for Susan Walters. Her husband, Linden Ashby, has been playing the villainous Cameron on and off since 2003. But during a recent day on set, Walters had another family member in the studio.

Grandma Time

When Walters arrived on set recently to film scenes, she wasn’t alone. The actress brought her adorable, 3-year-old granddaughter, Nora, to the studio. On her Instagram story, Walters documented the special day with her granddaughter.

In the video, Nora is walking alongside her grandma in the Television City Studio. “Are we at grandma’s work?” asked Walters. “Yeah,” Nora replied. As they continued their walk, the actress asked her granddaughter (who got serenaded by Ashby) what they were going to do. “Get a snack,” Nora happily exclaimed. “Oh, yeah. That’s the best part about being on a film set,” Walters laughed as she and Nora arrived on set.

Little Nora was more impressed by the food than by her grandma’s work. But it was still a fun day for grandma and granddaughter. Later, the two joined Nora’s mother and Walters’ daughter, Grace, for playtime at the park.

Walters and Ashby became grandparents in 2022, roles that the couple cherish. The actress often posts photos of her granddaughter on social media. From family vacations to babysitting to bicycling, Nora has fun adventures with her grandma and grandpa.

Recently, Walters shared a photo of Nora playing with her mother’s old dolls. Then, for Nora’s third birthday in August, Walters posted a sweet tribute to her granddaughter. “Loving this sweet and sassy little face for the last three years!🩷🩷🩷” captioned a collage of Nora’s photos.

Nora’s recent Y&R set visit was another fun day and perk of having a famous grandma. There’s bound to be more visits to the set to watch grandma and eat yummy snacks.
