Secrets was the theme of The Young and the Restless during September 8-12. One character was rocked by their significant other’s confession, while a threat was made against another. Here’s a look at some of the top moments of the week.

Contractually Obligated

Things just keep getting worse for Claire (Hayley Erin) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). The couple is currently on a break as Claire decides whether to forgive him. After the latest information she learned, Kylaire’s days might be numbered.

During a visit with Victor (Eric Braeden), Claire told him everything about Kyle and Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) kiss. The Moustache then had a revelation of his own, his contract with Kyle. Victor, who is surprisingly Team Kylaire now, told Claire about the contract to prove Kyle’s love for her. However, Claire was feeling more conflicted than ever.

Holden’s Threat

Claire’s nemesis, Audra, was up to her old tricks this week. Audra couldn’t resist the opportunity to antagonize Claire’s friend Holden (Nathan Owens) during a run-in at Society. Audra brought up Claire’s past crimes against the Newmans, which set off Holden. He warned her to back off or he’ll expose their past in L.A.

The tables have turned for Audra, who was left speechless by Holden’s threat. He holds the cards to take down Audra, but in doing so, he might destroy his life and his friendship with Claire.

Killer Confession

After months of keeping quiet, Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) secret is finally out in the open. This week, Mariah met Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) in the park, and things immediately got emotional for the separated couple. A tearful Mariah explained she was checking into a Boston clinic to get therapy. This upset Tessa, who felt that Mariah was once again running away from her and Aria (Millie and Maddie Ingles). As emotions ran high, Mariah finally blurted out that she tried to kill a man.

Fans thought Mariah would never confess to Tessa, but when she finally did, it was a jaw-dropping moment. Now that Tessa knows the truth, one must wonder where Teriah goes from here.
