The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) hasn’t learned from prison. If anything, she’s more resolved to get what she wants using any means necessary.
Luna falsely claims to be reformed, but her disregard of Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) relationship with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) reinforces Luna’s disordered mentality.
Intriguingly, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) may have the potential to sway her realized granddaughter in a different direction.
While Sheila may never have genuinely reformed herself, she was sincere when telling Luna about avoiding trouble. Brown’s character wants to shield John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) daughter from making mistakes that could prove damaging or even lead to further legal problems.
What A Great Setup In Los Angeles, California
Whoever or however many minds decided to have the eventual reveal of Luna’s father as Finn deserves significant kudos. This revealed connection is excellent because it deepens the backstory of one of the most storied villains in daytime.
Learning that Finn was Sheila’s son was a stunning revelation for many reasons, including his tie to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). That alone reignited the Forrester family’s enduring battle with Sheila.
It was so great to learn more recently that Luna was Finn’s child through Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park). The rollout of that shocker was handled deftly and with maximum cascading impact.
Will Spencer Is A Maturing Guy In LA
Will’s repeated requests to his girlfriend are natural. Viewers know they were also timed in the plot to coincide with Luna’s interest in him, which was first evidenced when she was secretly living in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) home.
The kisses she offered to Bill, which he thankfully rejected, underscored that Luna isn’t carrying a full daytime deck. She lives in a malleable fantasy world where anything she desires must come true, or she’ll react like a baby without a pacifier.
As fans learned, the infinite difference between baby Luna crying when Poppy raised her without Finn and these modern times is her reaction degree curve.
She killed the man believed to be her father and another guy she called a friend. Bill scoring a pardon must make Luna feel capable of escaping life’s consequences again.
Sheila Carter Can Make The Right Choice This Time
Keeping Sheila relevant means that her storylines must have legs. Finn and Luna provide a lot of plot space.
Falling in love with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and marrying him demonstrated that B&B wanted Sheila in the show long term. Broadening her family tree with Finn and Luna bolstered Brown’s character’s viability indefinitely.
Sheila has a chance to apply what she’s learned from her mistakes by guiding Luna away from a repetition of the many mistakes she made.
Here’s hoping Sheila doesn’t mind her grudge against the Forresters by using her highly volatile granddaughter as a proxy because that won’t go well for all involved.
