Still with us? OK. Well, apparently Katherine Kelly Lang, the OG who plays Brooke, shared what seemed like a perfectly harmless social-media post: a picture of a stack of her scripts for September. Only the one on top listed the characters featured in that episode. Among them? Both Liam and Luna.

Despite a spoiler released by Bold & Beautiful that states very clearly that “someone doesn’t survive surgery,” it looks like both shooters pull through. Perhaps the show is playing tricks on us, and although Liam or Luna dies on the operating table, they are subsequently revived.

Any way you slice it, the soap has its work cut out for it in the weeks ahead. Even if that bullet to the chest doesn’t take down Liam, he’s still facing an inoperable brain tumor. (Unless we really should be holding out hope for Grace’s risky treatment plan.)

As for Luna, she murdered two people, tried to kill Steffy and shot both her grandmother and Liam. Guess there’s only one way to keep that character on the canvas: She has to become a mild-mannered, pizza-slinging waitress like Sheila. (It always boggles our mind how many people eat at Il Giardino even knowing how many characters she’s poisoned over the years.)
