The Bold and the Beautiful viewers know him as Remy but his portrayer isn’t only an actor, he’s an author too. Last year, Christian Weissmann released his first poetry collection and on June 11, he celebrated the one-year anniversary of the book that means so much to him.

The CBS daytime star took to his official Instagram page to share photos and videos from his journey of becoming an author, everything from the book signings, where he autographed copies for his many fans, to the shelves his book is displayed on to the readings and a shot that showed it had reached No. 1 under new releases. However, the best part of his post was the message he had for those who not only bought his first book but for the support they’ve shown him.

“It is impossible for me to sum up how much this collection means to me and how special it feels to see it exist in the world,” Weissmann began then went on to thank “every person who bought a copy, came to a reading and embraced this labor of love.” He also revealed, “This book saved my life. Truly. Heartbreak and queerness are not linear journeys and I hope this book helped communicate that divine truth.”

To his publisher, Central Avenue, he thanked the company for “giving this story a home,” and to his “dedicated friends,” for helping him “along every step” and to the fans, “most importantly,” for getting to know him through his story.
