A New Flame at Firehouse 51: Lyla Novak Shakes Things Up

Change is a constant in the world of Chicago Fire, and Season 12 is no different. With the departure of some beloved characters, a fresh face has arrived at Firehouse 51, bringing a whirlwind of energy and a unique dynamic to the team.  Say hello to Paramedic Lyla Novak, played by the captivating Jocelyn Hudon.

A Breath of Fresh Air

Violet Mikami, newly promoted to Paramedic in Charge (PIC), has faced a difficult time finding a suitable replacement for the legendary Sylvie Brett.  Her first candidate was a disaster, disrespecting Violet and lacking the necessary skills. Enter Lyla Novak, a charming and outgoing paramedic who immediately catches the attention of everyone at Firehouse 51.

Unlike the more reserved Violet, Lyla is an open book, openly admiring the “firehouse hotties” and sharing stories of her past workplace romances.
