HEARTBREAKING UPDATE!!! Emmerdale star reveals Victoria’s reaction to John’s secret

Emmerdale spoilers follow. Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins has warned
of tensions to come as her character Victoria Sugden discovers one of her brother John’s secrets.
Victoria has struggled to make much progress with John since the mysterious newcomer
arrived in the village last month. Feeling shut out by her long-lost sibling, she steps up her attempts to snoop into his personal life next week.
In upcoming scenes, Victoria gets annoyed as she tries to show John some old family photos but he seems more interested in his phone. Victoria snatches the device from John’s hands, but is shocked to spot that he has been exchanging racy texts with Aaron Dingle.

When Victoria quizzes John about his secret fling, he gets annoyed and storms out of the pub. However, this only leaves Victoria even more determined to find out what else John may be hiding.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other press about the storyline, Isabel explained: “Victoria is frustrated that her and John are not on the same page. They’re not both mutually thrilled to have found one another, but I think she’s determined to change his mind!
“Once Victoria is determined about something, that’s it, so she’s going to try her damnedest to make it work. She twists John’s arm to get him in the pub, telling him that she’s found some old pictures she wants to show him. She’s going through them but he’s really not interested, so she actually grabs his phone because he’s distracted by it.
“Victoria completely disrespects John’s boundaries, which is standard! She sees that there’s quite a few texts from Aaron – and she sees that one is of a particular nature…”

Isabel added that Victoria will fear history is repeating itself, as Aaron was previously married to her brother Robert and their partnership certainly wasn’t short on drama.
She explained: “I think Victoria is shocked because she’s now got this relationship with Aaron where it’s back to ‘Victoria and Aaron’ rather than Aaron being with Robert.
“The first and foremost focus at the minute is her friend. So there’s a little sense of betrayal there, as in: ‘How could he be doing this to me when he’s my friend?’
“Her whole reasoning is that Aaron has been involved with Robert in the past and Aaron is a bit of a liability. So if they continue to see each other and it goes wrong, John’s going to leave the village – and that’s the last thing that she wants. That’s why she is so bothered.
“Ultimately I think she wants to get to know John and she’d love for him to open up to her. It’s constant frustration that she’s not really getting anywhere with him.
“She’s doing everything she can. She’s trying to get him involved with her child’s life. She’s offering him a place to stay. But he’s not returning that in any way, shape or form.”
