Home and Away: Stevie’s stalker spies on her

After watching Death Throes the night before, Cash has something on his mind. He takes another look at the photo taken from Stevie’s stalker. It turns out his intuition was right – on the back of the photo is the same number written by the killer in the movie, the time of death! Is the stalker trying to copy the movie, and is out to take Stevie’s life?

Cash asks Stevie if anything weird happened to her fellow cast members. She replies casually that her co-star, Crystal, died a month ago. Cash freaks out, wanting to know why he’s only hearing about this now. Stevie defends herself, stating that she didn’t think it was relevant because Crystal’s death was an “accident”; however, there’s a coroner’s inquest going on, because the circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear.

Cash demands that Stevie tell him everything. It turns out Crystal was her best friend. There was nothing that seemed to be wrong with her in the time leading up to her death, which makes it extremely suspicious that she just “fell” from a cliff.

Suddenly, there’s a knock on the door. Cash is immediately on high alert. He opens the door and finds nothing but a mysterious package at Stevie’s doorstep. A cautious Cash insists on checking the contents. He pries the box open and finds a teddy bear.

Stevie brushes it off as a harmless gift from a fan, but Cash picks it up, suspicious. Little do they know that he was right: someone is watching them as there’s a camera inside the teddy bear.

Meanwhile, cornered by Justin, Theo decides to tell him that he and Valerie are in fact dating, but the blowout Justin witnessed on the beach happened for no reason other than that Kirby was jealous. A relieved Justin thanks Theo for being honest with him, and bids him goodnight. Theo feels guilty, but stays silent.

The next day, Theo tells Valerie that he had to give up the secret of their relationship to cover the harder-to-swallow truth about their drug use. Instead of being understanding, however, Valerie storms off, feeling betrayed.

Later, Leah asks Valerie if she should consider checking in again with the clinic. Valerie seems to consider this seriously. She arrives home later that day and announces very publicly that she has booked an appointment for this afternoon, and Theo is incredibly happy for her. However, Valerie pulls him to the side almost immediately and tells him that was a lie. There is no appointment, and she’s not going back to the clinic. What will Theo make of this?
