She shocked fans earlier this year by announcing the birth of her third son, whose name and father are not yet known.

In the new picture, one of Melissa’s eldest sons – who she did not name – sat on a kitchen stool, wearing pajamas and an apron, with his face turned away from the camera.

‘My precious love as a Provence chef,’  she wrote alongside the image of her son – who rarely features on her Instagram page.

The adorable photograph was taken in a stunning 17th-century French chateau in Provence, where she is currently staying.

She has given fans a glimpse into the luxurious boutique hotel Callemant d’Autane on her Instagram, sharing an array of pictures from the property during her visits over the last year.

The sprawling accommodation is an eight-bedroom, six-bathroom chateau, renovated by Paris-based designer Diego Delgado-Elias.

According to the listing on Boutique Hotels, the private rental is only available on request, while the Instagram account is also private, and no prices are listed publicly.

In April, Melissa posted another image of one of her sons playing in the gardens and she has previously described the 17th-century noble residence as her ‘dream’.

In another post, the actress shared a family snap taken in the chateau’s kitchen, which she called a ‘happiness overload, four times over’.

‘My sons and their Australian grandparents all together at home with chef,’ she captioned the photo.

It is unclear if her family has taken up a semi-permanent resident in the village of Visan in Provence, or travel there on regular holidays from the French capital.
