She never told him the truth about Victor’s proposal, nor about her failed scheme to acquire Vibrante through Kyle. Instead, she’s busy covering her tracks, terrified that Nate will find out. Her secrecy, combined with her very public kiss with Kyle, could destroy whatever fragile trust remains between them.
