Next week in Genoa City promises fireworks. From Audra and Holden’s tense showdown to Cane crashing Billy and Sally’s big moment, the drama won’t stop

Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Unsurprisingly, Cane (Billy Flynn) has a lot on his agenda. First and foremost, Cane ruins Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally’s big night. Sally (Courtney Hope) meticulously coordinated the launch of Abbott Communications. She was supremely proud of this Dawn of Television theme as she spearheaded what she and Billy hoped to be a formidable media organization, a company for the future, podcasts and all.

Did Cane simply put a stop to the launch party? What are his reasons for this chaos? By the end of the week, look for Cane to make a new alliance. He has already tried to hire Michael (Christian LeBlanc) on as his resident fixer. Who could be on the other end of this potential professional pairing?Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morow) can’t stop focusing on Cane, and his ex’s laser focus on partnering with the billionaire businessman. Nick takes another stab at talking some sense into Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). When Nick warns Phyllis about Cane’s latest project, what reaction do you think he’ll get from her? We’re guessing a Ted Talk about why AI rules and how cool it is that it can decimate a company’s finances cleanly and thoroughly.

Confess…and Repent?

We’ve been waiting for this moment ever since Mariah (Camryn Grimes) returned from that work trip, which feels like a long time ago. She touched down in Genoa City and immediately started acting bizarrely. Something happened during that trip. And it involved some older man who looked a lot like Michael Swan, who used to play Duncan McKechnie on As the World Turns.

She has since left Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Aria, although she does visit her daughter. And she refuses to tell anybody what she did while she was gone, even Sharon (Sharon Case). Well, next week, Mariah makes a confession, and we’re hoping she’ll finally clue the world into what she did that was so awful.

Odds & Ends
Meanwhile, teasers suggest Victor surprises Claire with damaging information. This could be about the particulars of Kyle’s contract with Victor and the fact that no matter what Kyle says, he’s in violation of it. Wasn’t it Jack who tried to get Victor to tear up that document the other day?

Audra and Holden exchange threats. These two won’t say anything concrete about what happened between them when they were in Los Angeles. Ever since Holden arrived in town, they have been clashing. When Holden wasn’t following her around like a puppy dog, that is. Well, Holden isn’t like that about Audra anymore, so it’s unsurprising to hear that these two will threaten each other on Monday. These two know each other well, so these threats may cut deep.
