In a candid interview with Stella magazine, Sam opened up about her journey to motherhood and the profound impact it has had on her mental well-being. “I feel really peaceful and fulfilled. I love being a mom; I’m a family person and an introvert, so home is my safe space,” she said. Since the birth of her son, Ted, Sam has embraced a quieter lifestyle, spending quality time with her sister and nieces, who live nearby. She believes that this simpler way of life has been essential for her mental health.

“I used to tell myself I was a really anxious person,” Sam admitted, “but I haven’t felt anxious for a really long time.” She explained that living a life surrounded by family and taking time to disconnect from the constant buzz of social media has been transformative. “Living this kind of lifestyle, being with my family, and traveling to places with no phone reception, so you’re not on social media, has completely changed my life.”

In fact, Sam has largely distanced herself from social media. “I now have a different relationship with Instagram,” she explained. “I use it as a business tool to promote what I’m doing or to share little snippets of my life, but I don’t scroll on it. It’s not worth disrupting my peace, my mental health, and my joy.”

Sam’s decision to step back from the public eye included announcing her pregnancy in a low-key yet heartfelt post on Instagram. She shared a family photo of her, Jordi, and Ted, all wearing green, with the caption: “Our family is growing from 3 to 4. It has been a wild ride, but we are extremely grateful. Our little one is healthy and doing okay in there, and we are all very excited to meet you, especially your big brother.” She also took the opportunity to express her gratitude for the love and support she had received from family and friends during the journey. Though she did not specify how far along she was in her pregnancy, the announcement revealed that she had been expecting for a few months.
