‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Recap Friday, September 5: Ridge’s 180, Eric & Thomas Debate, Katie’s Support

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers is finally in for Friday, September 5, 2025! In today’s episode, fans can expect Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to have a debate.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) supports Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Plus, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tells Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) that he can’t marry her.

Katie Logan’s Support

Brooke stares at her phone as Katie threatens to put the device in time out. She texted Ridge, why hasn’t he responded.

Does Katie think he’s with Taylor? Katie doesn’t want her worrying about things. Brooke is worried about Thomas.

The blonde says that Thomas is entitled to his opinion, even if she doesn’t like it. Katie brings up Thomas’ past. Brooke admits he has a past, but had a rough time. The blonde feels for Thomas and he is Ridge’s son. She wants Thomas to be happy.

Katie says that Thomas will try to pressure Ridge to marry Taylor. The blonde says nothing can erase what they shared that day in Italy. Ridge promised to make things right, she just has to believe in him!

Eric Forrester’s Debate

Eric is busy sketching when Thomas interrupts. They embrace and are so happy to see each other. Thomas is excited for the TRIDGE wedding. Eric looks displeased.

The patriarch asks about Europe. Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is driving and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) is gone. Eric is surprised to hear that. The patriarch mentions that Taylor is a successful woman, and doesn’t need Ridge to be happy.

Thomas agrees, but brings up the Broken Heart Syndrome. Eric understands that Taylor was there for Ridge during the takeover. Thomas says Brooke is the only person who can stand in the way of TRIDGE. They debate about Brooke and Taylor.

Thomas knows his granddad is a big Brooke supporter, but he can surely see the love that TRIDGE have with each other. It’s a stable relationship. Please support Taylor and Ridge’s marriage! Eric says that Ridge knows how he feels. Thomas keeps trying to push him onto Team TRIDGE, but it doesn’t work.

Ridge Forrester’s Rejection

Ridge and Taylor are talking. The man likes what the therapist has done with the place. It’s a special ambiance for a special occasion. Taylor wants to pick a wedding date. They embrace as Eric’s words haunt Ridge.

They talk about Thomas being home and Grace Buckingham’s (Cassandra Creech) actions against Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Taylor thinks it’s for the best. She changes the topic to them getting married. It’ s what both Thomas and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) need, their family back together.

Taylor sure babbles a lot. Ridge is mostly silent, but smiles and says a few words once in a while. Why don’t they get married tomorrow?!

Ridge starts pacing around the room. Eric’s words continue flashing back to him as well as Brooke’s near-death experience. Ridge suddenly pushes her away.

He loves Taylor and everything about her. He doesn’t want to ever hurt her or break her heart. There is a long pause, then Ridge says he can’t pick a wedding date. He can’t marry Taylor.
