‘The Young and the Restless’ Jill Tells Billy She’s Sick; Diane isn’t Happy that Jack is Nikki’s Sponsor Again

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share for Wednesday, May 29.

There’s going to be some shattering news in this episode, and it explains some decisions Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has made recently.

Of course, it’s the type of thing that’s on a need to know basis, meaning Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have to keep it to himself as he continues to try to oust Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) from Chancellor-Winters.

As Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) begins to restart her sober life, she’s going to ask Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to be her sponsor again, and that’s certain to raise a few eyebrows.

Nothing like a stopover in Genoa City to make things interesting, so let’s grab some popcorn and dig in!

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Wednesday, May 29: Jill has trouble breathing

After returning to town to show his support for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) before she leaves, Billy hears from his mother and the news isn’t the best.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious what the writers are planning as it looks like Jill will tell Billy she’s in London getting treatment for her breathing problems.

While there isn’t word as to what is wrong with her exactly, there’s been a run of disease based storylines on daytime television lately, and this could be another one with cancer, pneumonia, or something else.

Given her revelation, it makes sense as to why she handed her power to Billy, and it does beg the question if she’ll return of if the show will send another character off into the sunset.

It looks like Nikki will pay Jack a visit and explain she’s on an out patient program but has plenty of work to do yet.

We expect he’ll be impressed with how far she’s come, and when it comes to his over dose he’ll explain he has no urge to take pills, so Nikki will ask him to be her sponsor again.

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) won’t enjoy hearing that and we expect she’ll give Jack an earful and then some as she won’t be able to let go of his overdose and what could’ve happened.

Jack will assure her, but we doubt she’s going to be a believer and stop worrying.

Of course, add in how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will react and we can see him doing something to trick Jack into becoming addicted similar to what happened to Nikki.
