Sadly, Claire has been through another round of emotional turmoil thanks to Jordan, so Victoria may worry about the toll all this has taken on her daughter.
Although Claire wasn’t Jordan’s accomplice, she may still end up blaming herself for Harrison Abbott’s kidnapping chaos on some level.
Summer Newman will certainly still save some blame for Claire, but Nick should understand that Claire was a victim and that Victoria’s heart is breaking for her daughter.
Victoria will get a few things off her chest, so she may fret over the potential setback in Claire’s recovery and admit she’s worried about Nikki Newman too now that she’s gone MIA.
However, Victoria might also confess that Cole Howard has been a wonderful source of support through all the drama.
If Nick asks about the potential of Cole and Victoria rekindling things, she may admit they’ve been inching back into romantic territory.
Next on Friday’s The Young and the Restless episode, Jack Abbott will face backlash after his relapse in Nikki Newman’s suite at the GCAC.
After mixing pills with booze and staying out all night, Jack will face a harsh reality in the morning.
The good news is Jack will finally wake up and realize he crossed a major line.
The bad news is the damage will be done in more ways than one.
Now that Jack has relapsed, he could deal with plenty more pill-popping temptation.
Of course, Jack will also have to face the music with Diane Jenkins-Abbott and give her updates on everything that’s gone down.
Diane was already worried about the possibility that helping Nikki could lead to Jack falling back into old habits.
Once Diane demands answers and realizes that fear has come true, she may lose her temper and act like this is all Nikki’s fault.
Diane may argue that Nikki should’ve found another sponsor, but she’ll also be upset with Jack for leaving her in the dark all night while he played with fire.
Over with Victor Newman, he’ll force Nikki to deal with her sobriety issues.
Victor may rant about Jack making things worse, but at least this mess will give Nikki the wake-up call she needs.
After Victor dishes out some tough love, Nikki may agree that rehab is necessary and make a prediction about it being the path to recovery.
