Nothing is ever simple, and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will have to deal with not being allowed to see their son.

Elsewhere, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) clear the air about what he hopes to achieve at Chancellor-Winters and it’ll shock Lily.

Well, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have to admit this was a surprise to us, but maybe it shouldn’t be given the drama that’s been surrounding Adam and Chelsea.

While they’ve tried to be good parents, it looks like their issues, particularly Chelsea’s, are the triggers for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey)’s OCD.

The news will apparently come from Connor himself as Chelsea’s psychotic breakdown was his fault and he’s a bad son.

Chelsea will feel guilty for having caused him so much pain, and Adam will feel like he failed him as a father.

It won’t help that the doctor has banned them from seeing Connor so treatment can begin, and Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have the unlucky tasks of supporting their significant others through this.

Lily and Billy will now have their talk and it looks like it could be earth shattering for a few at Chancellor-Winters.

Billy thinks that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) wants to groom him to take over and he plans to run the company alongside Lily.

He won’t fire anyone else as they’ll all have jobs, but he needs to protect his mother’s interest to secure his future.

This seems out of left field, but it looks like he thinks running the company with Lily is what Jill wants as she did in her initial plan, though it was more to give Billy purpose.

This is definitely an interesting perspective and we wonder if Jill may have hinted it to him or is he just assuming it since she asked him to work there.

We think it’s the latter and it’s bound to cause a whole lot of conflict now and down the road.
