The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Lily Finally Believes Cain After Becoming His Alibi

The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will finally believe Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) when she witnesses an attack on him.

Lily will also become Cane’s new alibi considering that she witnessed someone making an attempt at killing him. Will Lily finally join Cane’s side on the guilty or innocent battle brewing on his compound in Nice France?

Lily Winters Believes Cane Ashby Is Guilty

Lily is very upset over Damien Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) death. Lily and Damien had just began their relationship after getting to the chateau. Unfortunately, Damien was killed long before they could decide where this relationship was going.

Lily truly believes that Cane caused Damien’s death. Lily wants Cane to pay for what he has done.

Lily doesn’t have an faith in Cane after how they split up. Cane had reconnected with his father and Lily wanted no part of that. Lily had forbidden Cane and his father to have any contact with their children and she doesn’t want him around them now.

Lily knows that Cane threatened Damien and she truly believes that he followed through on that threat.

Cane Ashby Swears Someone Is trying To Kill Him

Cane swears that Damien was killed by accident. Cane believes that he was the target the whole time. Cane’s alcohol had been drugged and both he and Damien drank from it.

Cane was trying to get Damien to safety when Damien suddenly slumped into his arms with a dagger sticking out of his back. Cane didn’t touch the knife, but it did show up in Nick

Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) room.

Cane and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) believed they could check the video footage and find the killer to prove Cane’s innocence.

Unfortunately, the video footage had been erased and they were forced to wait for the 24 hour download to see if the footage is available there. Will that video be tampered with as well?

Lily Winters Witnesses An Attack On Cane Ashby

Cane has been trying to convince Lily that he never tried to kill Damien. Cane has tried to explain that he offered Damien his blessings and they were on good terms.

However, Lily refuses to believe Cane until she witnesses someone try to kill Cane much like they did Damien. Fans believe that Cane’s assistant, Carter (Vincent Stalba), maybe responsible for Damien’s death.

What if Carter is also the person who is determined to take Cane out as well? Is Carter jealous of Cane’s success and wants to take over his life? Could Carter simply be tired of taking orders from Cane and want to take over his entire business?
