‘The Young And The Restless’ spoilers show that this week may see the reunion of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), which will allow them to confide in and support one another. Using Phyllis as a confidante, Nick will begin by revealing that he is concerned about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) resentment towards Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and how his father is handling Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) rehabilitation.

Naturally, Nick would also be concerned about Nikki’s ability to maintain her sobriety given the turmoil involving Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). It seems like Phyllis will be happy to provide a sympathetic ear to Nick when he needs someone to vent to because he sounds stressed out. When Nick is finished, Phyllis will confide in him as well since she is equally worried about Summer.

Additionally, as Phyllis will mishandle her attempt to assist Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) amid the chaos of the lawsuit, there will be some new developments. It’s also obvious that Phyllis will require assistance because she will be feeling down about Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) cheerfully going out on tour with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).

Is there a potential that Phyllis and Nick may end up back in bed together, as they could both use some relief from this tension? While Phyllis brought up the idea last, while she was intoxicated, Nick shot her down; perhaps if she brings it up again when sober, he would embrace it.
