Audra doesn’t have a leg to stand on. She’s ruthlessly fighting with Kyle and Claire, both of whom vow to take her down. The Young and the Restless star Zuleyka Silver revealed what’s going on with her on-screen alter ego, and why she’s not squaring up against the man himself, Victor Newman.

Spiraling Hard

Audra landed a deal that exploded in her face. Victor (Eric Braeden) enlisted her to break up Claire (Hayley Erin) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). Shockingly, her seduction plot failed. Claire got revenge on Audra by ending her relationship with Nate (Sean Dominic).

Audra’s not backing down from this fight anytime soon. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Silver teased, “Definitely not. She’s petty.” She explained that Audra is refusing to take accountability for what happened. “But also, I think she wants someone to blame, because then she can dodge accountability. I don’t think a lot of people can sometimes deal with their heinous actions. So, it’s easier to blame Claire for breaking up her and Nate than it is to sit down with herself and be honest with herself.”

Audra is going after Kyle and Claire instead of Victor, who took Vibrante away from her. She enjoys stirring the pot and getting a reaction out of them. They’re the low-hanging fruit that she can play with, rather than Victor. “I think she’s spiraling a bit,” Silver teased. The reason she’s going after them rather than Claire’s grandfather is that he can outwit anyone. She’d be crazy to try.

“Because Victor’s not going to give her the time of day, and she’s smarter than to… You know, maybe attack Victor, right? She can’t really go head-to-head with him? Who can?” Silver asked. Y&R fans are still hoping that Cane (Billy Flynn) will be the one who can take down Victor while he’s not looking. But it looks like he’s done scheming for now.

No More Scheming?

As for Audra, she’s done scheming as well. She has no backup plan at this time, even though it looks like she secretly wants Kyle to herself. “I think at this point, she’s being reactive. As far as I know— I haven’t really seen the upcoming scripts yet. But right now, she’s being a bit reactive,” Silver shared.

When Claire and Audra crossed paths at Society recently, a fight almost broke out. Claire looked ready to give Audra a slap across the face. Thankfully, Holden (Nathan Owens) was there to calm the two ladies down. But for now, Audra has no intentions of messing with the couple.
