The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, September 4 bring out Claire’s claws as she continues to focus on the woman her boyfriend kissed, instead of on, you know, the boyfriend who cheated.

Claire Confronts Audra Over Kyle’s Betrayal

Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) solution to Claire (Hayley Erin) no longer trusting him was to propose marriage. Even he eventually realized he was reading the room very, very badly. Kyle groveled. Claire dismissed his proposal.

But she can’t dismiss thinking that Audra (Zuleyka Silver, who shared a hilarious fail recently) is the one to blame for leading Claire’s poor, sweet, dumb boyfriend astray. So rather than dealing with her and Kyle’s relationship — either by ending it or getting over what happened in France, Claire decides it makes more sense to yell at Audra.

Will Audra respond in kind, or just pat Claire on the head and tell her to shush, grown-ups are talking?

Nikki Plans a Romantic Evening for Victor

No matter what Victor (Eric Braeden) does — most recently, it’s siccing Audra on Kyle in order to break up Kyle and Audra; what a delightful, wacky scamp he is! — Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) forgives him. And defends him to others. And reminds him that he is the most wonderful man in the world, and nothing he does could ever be wrong. It’s time to do that again!

Nikki plans a romantic evening to remind Victor of his perfection, as the weekly Y&R spoilers for September 1-5 reveal, just in case he has a moment of doubt about meddling in his granddaughter’s love life.

Michael Considers a Tempting New Job Offer

Michael (Christian Le Blanc) just got out from under Victor’s thumb, refusing to keep taking his loyalty tests. He was in France just for the funzies… and avoided getting sucked back into Victor’s orbit.

Now, Michael gets a new job offer. But is it just one step removed from Victor? After all, Cane (Billy Flynn) is more or less his puppet now… No, Michael! Don’t! Save yourself!
